House of a 70's Love Story
Near the Yeonkkotmot pond in Gujeong-dong, Gyeongju, there is a giant hanok, a traditional Korean house, called the 'Cheonggong', which is related to a love story. In 1979, there was a Korean-Japanese businessman who traveled a lot for his business, leaving his wife in Gyeongju frequently. For the wife, the businessman built a traditional style house, the Cheonggong, using the best material he could find in those days, and spend the rest of his life with her. This is what the current owner of the house says about his own parents.
